The motor housing is designed for cooling through either of two methods which are natural convection or surface cooling. Surface cooling is used to accommodate extreme loads. The peak motor current is 72.9 Amps. At 20 degrees Celsius, the torque constant is 0.86 Nm/A and the winding resistance is 1.2 Ohms. The inductance of the motor windings is 6.8 millihenry.
