The compact digital AC servo motors form rapid-response systems with Indramat digital drive controllers. They are commonly used in textile machines, handling equipment, and robotics.

The MDD090C-N-020-N2L-110PB2 is one of Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors. It is best suited for applications where high-level precision and synchronism are required, such as grinding machines. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and it can accommodate a maximum current of 72.9A. The motor’s housing is sealed and coated in a black prime varnish that is resistant to weathering, chalky buildup, yellowing, and lyes. It also supports cooling by natural convection and surface cooling, allowing extreme loads such as continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per EN 60529 indicates that it cannot be penetrated by solid external objects or multidirectional water jet sprays.
