Product Description
The MDD digital AC servo motors are manufactured by INDRAMAT. They are advanced servo motors with extensive functionality. When integrated with the INDRAMAT drive controllers, they produce cost-effective and rapid-response automatization systems. The high-performance servo motors are used in robotics, handling equipment, transfer facilities, and tools and textile machines.
The MDD090C-N-020-N2L-110GA2 is an MDD motor model with a centering diameter of 110mm. Like other units in the MDD090 series, it is ideal for high-precision applications which require a high level of synchronism, as seen in grinding machines. This motor also exhibits electronic commutation; thus, its peak torque can be used across a wide speed range. It also delivers its nominal torque at a speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute. This product has a winding inductance of 6.8mH, while it can conduct a maximum current of 72.9A. It features a digital servo feedback encoder with a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. The motor encoder operates optically, and it eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder on the motor.
Various drive elements can be attached to the MDD090C-N-020-N2L-110GA2 via its plain output shaft. It is also characterized by a high degree of operational reliability and high-performance data. Its suitable cooling methods are natural convection and surface cooling. The motor is compatible with all blower units available to MDD motors; hence it can undergo both radial and axial cooling. Pinions and belt pulleys can be directly attached to its output shaft due to its design which permits high radial loads. It is enclosed in a housing with a black prime coat and can be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above sea level.
