Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the creator of the powerful MDD servo motors, a group of digital AC motors that are used to build rapid-response automation systems. These synchronous servo motors are available in different sizes, torques, and speeds to promote application-specific use.
The MDD090C-F-060-N5L-110GA0 is a Bosch Rexroth MDD servo motor model in Balance Class R per DIN VDE 0530. It is equipped with a lifetime-lubricated bearing with a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. Due to its sealed housing with an IP 65 rating per DIN 40050, its safe operation in harsh industrial environments is possible. This housing is coated with a black prime varnish that is resistant to weathering, chalky buildup, dilute acids, yellowing, and lye. There is a thermal sensor in the motor’s stator to monitor its temperature and notify users of potentially harmful temperatures. In addition, heat is efficiently removed from this stator to the walls of its housing, giving the motor high overload capability. Its nominal speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute, while its centering diameter is 110mm.
Electronic commutation is one feature that all MDD motors, including the MDD090C-F-060-N5L-110GA0, have in common. It gives high cyclic load capacity so that the motor is ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its installation is simple because of its design, which also allows the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft. This model’s output shaft is the plain type with a shaft sealing ring for a non-positive backlash-free shaft-hub connection. It should be installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above mean sea level and operated at an ambient temperature between 0oC and 45oC.
