Product Description
Servo motors designed by Bosch Rexroth share a quality of high performance and versatility. The MDD servo motors by the manufacturer are synchronous servo motors that form rapid-response automation systems. To achieve this, they are combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. They also feature a compact construction and precise encoder systems.
The MDD090B-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is a synchronous MDD servo motor model designed by Bosch Rexroth. It features digital servo feedback as its integrated encoder system, allowing the evaluation of the motor’s precise speed and position. This encoder works with the optical measuring system and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. The mounting of this motor as per Designs B5 and B14 is possible, thanks to its mounting flange with througholes and threads. Its installation is simplified by the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to its shaft and the use of ready-made cables. Heat dissipation from this motor is by natural convection and surface cooling. Heat is also effectively removed from its stator windings to its housing walls.
Because the housing of the MDD090B-N-030-N2L-130PB0 is completely sealed, the motor can be safely operated in harsh environmental conditions. It has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529, indicating that solid extrinsic objects and water jets cannot penetrate it. It is also painted with a black prime coating resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, and diluted acids and lyes. The nominal speed of the motor is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and it has a theoretical maximum torque value of 38.9Nm. With its brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated during service life, this motor can be operated maintenance-free.
