Product Description
The MDD090B-N-030-N2L-110GB1/S040 is a digital servo motor designed by Rexroth Indramat to operate in combination with a compatible drive controller to form a responsive automatization system that can meet the operational requirements of industrial machines used in production and processing systems. This electrical servo motor is manufactured according to the IP65 protection class; its compact housing unit contains a high metal content and is painted with a prime black coating which is resistant to weathering, yellowing and chalky build-ups. The motor coating also provides the motor with protection against mildly corrosive chemical substances such as diluted acids and lyes. Under normal operating conditions, this electrical motor operates at an efficiency of about 95 per cent. The high operational efficiency makes it perfectly suited for industrial applications that require high operational dynamics over a broad speed range.
The MDD090B-N-030-N2L-110GB1/S040 electrical motor can be mounted into the industrial servo system with two separate mount flange designs; the mounting flange with through holes and the mounting flange with threads. This electrical motor also features a plain output shaft through which it carries out backlash-free and non-positive transmission of kinetic energy to industrial machine components. This output shaft features a sealing ring that ensures that no liquids can penetrate the motor housing along the output shaft.
The operational heat of the MDD090B-N-030-N2L-110GB1/S040 electrical motor is regulated via natural convection. However, when the motor is used in applications that require continuous start-stop operations with a high level of repetitive frequency, an additional surface cooling unit should be mounted on the motor it aids its temperature regulation process. There are two types of surface cooling units available to the motor; the axial surface cooling unit and the radial surface cooling unit.
