They can be combined with drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth to create cost-effective and rapid response automation systems.
The MDD090A-N-020-N2L-110GB0 is a model of Bosch Rexroth's MDD motor series. It is specifically used in high-precision operations where an extreme degree of synchronism is required, such as grinding machines. This motor is equipped with a plain output shaft for backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. It also has a temperature sensor built into its windings to monitor its temperature and prevent overload damage. The MDD model supports maintenance-free operation due to its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. It has a nominal speed of 2,000 rpm and a standard centering diameter of 110 mm. Its standard housing design supports heat elimination via natural convection and surface cooling, and it has an inbuilt thermal sensor.

The motor has a high overload capability due to efficient heat conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of its housing. The housing is painted with a black prime coating resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. This motor has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529. It means that the motor is touch-proof, dust-proof, and safe from the penetration of water sprayed at it from all directions.
