Product Description
Drives with the MDD series of servo motors by Bosch Rexroth can be used for various applications. These include machine tools, textile machines, robotics, printing and processing machines, and handling equipment. The servo motors are permanent-magnet excited motors built with low inertia for high dynamics operations. They are also ideal for cutting in high-speed ranges.
The MDD090A-N-020-N2L-110GA0 is a synchronous servo motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MDD series. It is built for maintenance-free operation with its brushless design and its use of bearings that stay lubricated throughout their service life. These bearings are designed for high radial loads and allow pinions and pulleys to be directly attached to the motor shaft. The output shaft of this model is a plain one with a shaft sealing ring, and it ensures a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of torque. Its shaft sealing ring also plays a protective role by preventing the penetration of the motor housing by liquids along the shaft. The centering diameter of the servo motor is 110mm.
Digital servo feedback with a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes is the integrated motor feedback of the MDD090A-N-020-N2L-110GA0. It is equipped with an inbuilt data memory where the motor’s parameters are filed. Every time the motor is powered up, these parameters are set in the drive, ensuring its rapid startup and safe adaptation to the drive controller. The nominal speed of the motor is 2,000 revolutions per minute, and it requires a maximum current of 21.9A for its operation. This motor must be installed at a maximum elevation of 1000m above sea level. It also requires an ambient temperature that ranges between 0oC and 45oC.
