Product Description
This MDD071C-N-040-N21-095PB1 digital AC servo motor is introduced by Rexroth Indramat. The company is the leading manufacturer of automation systems and components like drive controller, servo motors, and frequency converters.
The Indramat MDD071C servo motor features an output shaft that is equipped with keyways and a life-time lubricated bearing for maintenance-free operations. The blocking brake on this motor is designed to deliver the holding torque of 3.0 Nm by operating on 24 VDC power source. The MDD071C-N-040-N21-095PB1 model is a digital AC servo motor whose extremely high power density enables its use in various industrial applications from robotics to packaging industry. The motor comes with a MDD user manual and it should be handled as per the conditions mentioned in the user manual. The model has a B04 and B14 flange mounting design. In addition to detecting rotor position, the digital servo feedback permits the evaluation of velocity and position. It has been determined that the nominal motor speed is 4000 min-1 and it generates the theoretical maximum torque of 20.5Nm. The maximum current by this motor is 65.9 amperes under peak loading conditions. This 11-kilogram MDD digital AC servo motor has a thermal time constant of forty-five minutes. At 20 ?C, the torque constant of the motor is 0.45Nm/A. Its inductance and moment of inertia of the rotor are 3.4mH and 11.9 x 10-4 kgm2 respectively.
A permissible ambient temperature range of 0? to +45 ?C is deemed appropriate for altitudes of 1000 meters above sea level. The housing design is standard black prime-coated (RAL 9005) and applies to the surface-cooling and natural convection standards. The MDD071C-N-040-N21-095PB1 model provides excellent resistance against water and ingress of dust due to its IP 65 protection rating.
