The MDD digital AC servo motors by Bosch Rexroth are designed for variable applications. They are used in combination with the intelligent drive controllers from Rexroth to provide cost-effective and rapid response automation systems. These motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets are obtained from iron oxide magnetic materials. The electronic commutation makes the motor suitable for high-frequency operations, giving it high cyclic load capacity.

The MDD071C-N-030-N2S-095PL0 servo motor has a very high power density and is therefore used for highly dynamic operations such as roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tool changing devices.
