The MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GB0 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is a synchronous motor: its speed is synced to the input current frequency. Permanent magnets made with rare-earth materials are used for construction of motor magnets. High performance data for MDD motor are a result of high dynamics due to favorable torque-inertia ration, high overload capabilities, high power to weight ratio, high cyclic load and peak torque that can be used over a wide speed range. Attachment of MDD motors to the machine simple and is aided by direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft and motor installation in any orientation. Bosch provides a range of ready-made cable that eliminate additional installation work. The MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GB0 motor features a plain shaft for non-positive shaft-hub connections. The motor is equipped with a feedback system especially developed and designed for this product line.
This feedback enables position and speed evaluation and detection of rotor position. The MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GB0 motor supports digital servo feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder. MDD motors are available with an optional blocking brake, which makes it possible to clamp or hold the output shaft at a standstill. This means that the axis is brought to a safe standstill when power is off. The MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GB0 does not include the optional blocking brake. Housing of the MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GB0 motor has a standard design. The motor is suited to natural convection or surface cooling. The nominal speed of the servo motor is 6000 RPM. Centering diameter of the MDD071B-N-060-N2T-095GB0 motor is 95 millimeters. The power connection is situated on side B (pointing in the opposite direction to the motor shaft). Both the power and the motor feedback cables are directly connected to the motor by means of connectors on the corresponding flanged sockets.
