Product Description
The MDD family of digital AC servo motors is introduced by Rexroth Indramat. This series is comprised of state-of-the-art AC motors to perform in poor environmental conditions. Bosch is committed to innovate industrial automation system with its devices.
The MDD071B-N-040-N2L-095GA0 is designed to be controlled with intelligent drive controllers offered by Rexroth Indramat. This Indramat digital AC servo motor has 95mm centering diameter and a plain output shaft which makes it possible to rotate smoothly. The use of lifetime lubricated bearing add value to its operation. This is a brushless motor with compact design suitable for modern sophisticated applications such as machine tools, robotics, and transfer facilities. It can operate at a rated speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute. At the A side of motor, electrical connectors are available which save time of installing new cables during commissioning. The housing of motor provides IP65 degree of protection marking it safe against dust and solid particles. The unit must be operated in surrounding air temperature of 0 to +45 degree Celsius. It has a flange with four standard holes that can be used to mount motor in desired orientation.
The model MDD071B-N-040-N2L-095GA0 is passed through various inspection stages that ensure reliability during continuous operation. This is a permanent magnet-excited motor featured with electronic commutation. Usually it comes without the blocking brake, but can also be ordered with brakes if needed. At a standstill position, the AC motor can produce 4.4 Nm of continuous torque while consuming 11 A current. The theoretical maximum torque for this model is 13.6 Nm with a consumption of 49.3 A current at the peak load. To keep the motor cool, it should be placed in free air passage. The temperature sensors in the winding keeps the motor cool by continuously monitoring heat.
