Product Description
The MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095PA0 is a compact and efficient servo motor. This motor operates at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm and can provide a continuous torque of 4.4 Nm at a standstill. It has a torque constant of 0.6 Nm for every ampere of current that it consumes in nominal operating conditions, which is 7.3 amperes of current. For applications that may require higher levels of torque than the rated torque, the MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095PA0 can provide up to 13.6 Nm of peak torque while consuming a peak current of 32.8 amperes. At the maximum output rating and operating conditions, the MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095PA0 has a speed of 9000 rpm.
To allow less resistance to the motor coil, the MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095PA0 features a low coil resistance of 1.6 ohms during the initial life of the servo motor, allowing the current to flow efficiently and dissipate less amount of heat. To ensure the voltage applied across the coil is smooth with no spikes or noise, the MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095PA0 also comes with a coil that has an inductance of 9.4 mH. With the inclusion of the digital servo feedback, this motor is capable of controlling the motor shaft much more accurately and can control the speed of the motor using the tacho feedback system, ensuring the speed of the motor is according to the control system setpoint. This servo motor has a centering diameter of 95 mm and a shaft with a keyway (DIN 6885), which ensures the motor can be integrated into existing systems.
To ensure steady performance during high power and high-speed applications, the MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095PA0 has a temperature range of operation of 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius and has a thermal time constant rating of 45 minutes, which is the amount of time it takes for the motor to attain its steady-state temperature. This motor model does not come with a holding brake.
