The MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095GL0 is an MDD digital AC servo motor equipped with a digital servo feedback system with a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. It displays high operational reliability with features like its brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. Together, these make it a maintenance-free servo motor. It can also be operated under poor environmental conditions without any damage. This is because it is enclosed in a sealed housing that is touch-proof, dustproof, and completely impenetrable to water jets. As a result, according to EN 60529, it has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating.
Electronic commutation in the MDD071B-N-030-N2S-095GL0 gives it a high cyclic load capacity that allows continuous start-stop operations with a high level of repetitive frequency. The heat generated within is dissipated effectively with natural convection and surface cooling, where extreme-load operations are carried out. Since heat is also effectively transferred from the motor’s stator windings to the walls of its housing, it displays high overload capabilities. Its rated speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute, and the maximum current for its operation is 32.8A. It also requires an ambient temperature in a range between 0oC and 40oC for its operation and a maximum elevation installation of 1000m above sea level.
