Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. They have several characteristics which make them suitable for numerous industrial applications. These include their low inertia and high power-to-weight ratio. Electronic commutation gives them a high cyclic load capacity, permitting their use in continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Their areas of use include printing and packaging machines, textile machines, tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MDD065D-N-060-N2L-095PL1 is a model in the MDD series mainly characterized by a high power density. As a result, it is suitable for highly-dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines and tool changing devices. Its output shaft is a shaft with a keyway, according to DIN 6885-1, for form-fitting shaft-hub-connections. It also has a shaft sealing ring attached to this shaft to prevent the entry of fluids through the shaft. Its integrated motor feedback system is digital servo feedback for the relative indirect evaluation of the motor's position. This encoder has a data memory where the motor’s parameters are saved.
As a maintenance-free motor, the MDD065D-N-060-N2L-095PL1 has a high degree of operating reliability. This is a result of its brushless design and lifetime lubricated bearings. This motor housing is completely sealed and has an Ingress protection rating of IP 65. Hence, this motor can be used under adverse environmental conditions. With its impressive protection rating, it is protected against contact with high voltage motor parts, the penetration of external objects, and jet water from different directions. Its housing is painted in a prime black coat resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes.
