Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are powerful and dynamic motors used for several industrial applications. They are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. The electronic commutation gives them a high cyclic load capacity, making them suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. These motors ensure excellent contouring accuracies at increased feed rates, particularly when used for cutting at high-speed ranges. There are different models available in this series with different torques and speeds.
The MDD065D-N-040-N2M-095PB1 is an MDD motor model equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn encoder that permits the detection of its absolute indirect position. Its output shaft is a shaft with a keyway, according to DIN 6885-1, and a shaft sealing ring to provide form-fitting shaft-hub connections. The maintenance-free operation of the MDD motor is due to its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. It also has an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating that shows that it is safe from the penetration of solid extrinsic materials and multidirectional water jet sprays. This motor also has a blocking brake with 3.0Nm torque for a backlash-free holding of the servo axis when the machine is disconnected from power.
A black prime varnish resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes coats the housing of the MDD065D-N-040-N2M-095PB1. It has a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and a standard centering diameter of 95mm. It can also generate a theoretical maximum torque of 7.8Nm. Its operation should be at an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C and maximum relative humidity of 95%. The motor should be installed at a maximum height of 1000m above mean sea level.
