Bosch Rexroth’s MDD synchronous servo motors are functional units available in different sizes and torques. They ensure high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when used for cutting in high speed ranges. Drives with the motors are used in machine tools, robotics, and textile machines.

The MDD065D-N-040-N2M-095GB0 is one of the models of the synchronous servo motors of the MDD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has an impressive power density that makes it especially suited for applications with high dynamics. Some of these include pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tool changing devices. The motor can be installed in any desired position on the machine and allows the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft. Its nominal speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and it can generate a maximum torque of 7.8Nm. With its touch-proof and dust-proof housing that is impervious to water jet sprays, it has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 per EN 60529. This also allows it to be safely used in harsh industrial environments.
