Product Description
The MDD digital AC servo motors are a series of dynamic automation products designed and constructed by INDRAMAT. They are combined with INDRAMAT digital drive controllers to produce the finest automatization systems. They also have a wide range of applications, including tool machines, robotics, printing and packaging machines, and handling equipment.
The MDD065C-N-040-R2L-095GB1 is an MDD AC servo motor with a frame size of 065. Its nominal motor speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and it has a theoretical maximum torque of 6.1Nm. With its brushless design and the inclusion of lifetime-lubricated bearings, this motor is suitable for maintenance-free operations. It also features a plain output shaft which enables a backlash-free and non-positive transmission of the torque. During this motor's operation, heat is effectively conducted from the stator windings to its external walls, thereby enabling the motor to have a high overload capability. It also has a black prime coat to which extra layers of varnish can be added, provided it is below 40µm thickness.
Due to the temperature sensor in its winding, the MDD065C-N-040-R2L-095GB1 is protected against overheating via forceful thermal shutdowns. In such occurrences, the drive controller generates an error message for the user. The motor also features a digital servo feedback encoder, which allows for the detection of the relative indirect position of the motor. It also has a peak current of 24.6A and a winding inductance of 3.6mH. Its ideal storage is a dry, clean space with a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. It can also be installed at a maximum elevation of 1000 m above sea level. In addition, its side B is designed to facilitate power connection.
