They are also used in robotics, transfer facilities, and transfer facilities.

The MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095PA1 is a servo motor in the MDD series by Bosch Rexroth. It is a permanent magnet motor whose rotor’s magnet is made of iron oxide materials. Because of this, the motor has low inertia and can be used for operations requiring high dynamics. The housing of this MDD motor is completely sealed and does not admit solid objects or sprays from water jets. Hence, it belongs to the IP 65 protection category according to EN 60529. It is also coated with a black prime coating that is resistant to chalking,weathering, diluted acids and lyes, and yellowing. It has a blocking brake of 3.0Nm for holding the servo axis when the machine is off.

The motor feedback of the MDD065C-N-040-N2M-095PA1 is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. This encoder system allows the absolute indirect position detection of the motor and stores the position in the connected drive controller. It also has a data memory where the motor’s parameters are stored, ensuring a quick startup and its safe adjustment to the drive controller. This motor has a nominal speed of  4,000 revolutions per minute and a theoretical maximum torque of 6.1Nm. It is equipped with thermal sensors that protect it from damage due to thermal overload. The heat generated during its operation is also effectively transferred from its stator windings to its housing.
