Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MDD servo motors have several distinguishing features, including high operational reliability and electronic commutation. They are digital AC servo motors that assure high contouring accuracies at high feed rates, especially when used for cutting at high speed ranges. Typically, they are used for applications like textile machines, machine tools, and robotics.
The MDD065B-N-060-N2M-095PB1 is a synchronous servo motor of the MDD series with a nominal speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute. It has a brushless design and compact build that gives it a high power-to-weight ratio. Its bearing has a nominal lifetime of 30,000 operating hours and remains lubricated throughout its service life, allowing maintenance-free operation. As a product of Balance Class R according to DIN VDE 0530, it is suitable for demanding applications like servo motors in main spindle applications. Because of the efficient elimination of heat from its stator windings to the outside walls of its housing, it has a high overload capability. This stator winding also has an inbuilt thermal sensor that prevents damage caused by thermal overload.
Since the MDD065B-N-060-N2M-095PB1 meets the DIN 40050 standard with an IP 65 rating, it can be safely operated under adverse environmental conditions. The rating indicates that it is safe from the penetration of solid external materials and multidirectional water jet sprays. Its housing coat is a black prime varnish with high-level resistance against chalky buildup, yellowing, weathering, and lye. It also comes fitted with an output shaft with a keyway that guarantees form-fitting torque transmission. Like other models in the MDD series, its shaft has a sealing ring that prevents the entry of potentially harmful fluids into the motor via its shaft.
