Product Description
The MDD digital AC servo motors are designed and constructed by Bosch Rexroth. These motors are built to achieve high contouring accuracies at high feed rates. They combine with digital drive controllers to produce economic and fast-response automatization systems, which are used in tool machines, robotics, handling equipment, textile machines, and transfer facilities.
The MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095PA0 is one of the MDD motors. Typical of other models in this class, it has a high power density and is suitable for highly dynamic operations, seen in nibbling machines and roller feeds. This motor has a high degree of operating reliability due to its ability to execute maintenance-free operations. It can also function efficiently under adverse environmental conditions. It has a theoretical maximum torque of 4.4Nm and its peak torque can be applied over a wide speed range. According to DIN VDE 0530, this product is balanced in terms of Balance class R. It features an output shaft with a keyway (per DIN 6885), which enables a form-fitting transmission of the torque, and is suited to less-demanding operations.
A high power-to-weight ratio is another outstanding feature of the MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095PA0, and it is due to the motor's compact construction. This servo motor is coated in a prime black coat, to which additional layers of varnish can be added, provided it does not exceed a thickness of 40mm. It also has a winding conductance of 7.4 mH and a peak current of 15.9A. The power connectors of the motor can be plugged into its Side A. During this motor’s operation, the heat generated is eliminated through natural convection and surface cooling. The maximum permissible height for its installation is 1000m above sea level.
