Product Description
The MDD Digital AC Servo Motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors. They are designed by INDRAMAT and have low inertia due to the incorporation of rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials in the rotor's design. The MDD motors are specifically built to provide excellent contouring accuracies at high feed rates. They are utilized in textile machines, handling equipment, transfer facilities, robotics, and other applications.
The MDD motor MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095GB0 has a plain output shaft that allows non-positive torque transfer during operations with drive elements. Because it is a model in the MDD065 series, it is suitable for highly dynamic applications. These include roller feeds for pressing, nibbling machines, and tool-changing devices. This motor may be readily fitted in any desired position. It also has a high overload capacity because the heat generated in the windings is rapidly transferred to the exterior walls. It weighs 3.9kg and has a centering diameter of 95mm. It also generates its nominal torque at a nominal speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute. Like other MDD motors, its peak torque is suited to a wide speed range. The connection terminals for the motor power and encoder cables are IP 65-rated and are protected against damage by water jets.
Pinions and belt pulleys are directly attached to the MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095GB0. This is due to the motor's design which allows for the application of high radial loads. This product also has a fully sealed housing which enables its efficient operation under adverse environmental conditions. It also features a high cyclic load capacity and high synchronous operations capability. This motor is coated in a prime black varnish and has a winding inductance of 7.4mH.
