The MDD065B-N-040-N2L-095GA1 is a Bosch Rexroth MDD servo motor whose motor feedback type is digital servo feedback. It uses the optical measurement method to ensure high precision in the determination  of its relative indirect position. The encoder also has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and bypasses the need for a separate incremental encoder with the motor.
