Indramat was originally founded in 1958 with Germany as a pioneer industrial control firm. The company manufactured industrial servo drives and motion controls that were used in a wide range of applications including machine tools, printing presses, food packaging and even assembly lines. Once acquired by Rexroth in 1965, Indramat moved to a new German headquarters, but continued to conquer the industry of machine control. In 2001, both these companies were taken over by Robert Bosch who then founded Bosch Rexroth Indramat and continued to provide electric drives and control technology to the entire manufacturing industry. 

Bosch Rexroth continues to produce and support legacy parts that are still in use by many factories. With new product ranges such as the IndraDrive, IndraDyn and IndraControl, Bosch Rexroth keeps the legacy of Indramat products alive and recognizes the extensive demand for their technology. The MDD series of motors includes Synchronous AC Servo Motors that are currently available in nine different rotor diameters. When combined with intelligent drive controllers, the MDD digital AC servo motors are able to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems that are well-suited for applications such as tools, textile, printing and packaging, robotics and handling equipment. Bosch Rexroth’s MDD motors provide high contouring accuracies at high feed-rates, especially when used for cutting in high speed ranges. 

Bosch Rexroth’s MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PR0 digital AC synchronous motor is part of their MDD series and features a motor size of 025 and a motor length of C. The MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PR0 motor is equipped with a nominal speed of 10,000 min and comes with a standard housing design. The centering diameter for the MDD025C-N-100-N2G-040PR0 motor is 040 mm, and it is also equipped with resolver motor feedback, which allows for clear and constant communication.
