The MAF225C-0150-FR-S2-DR0-35-V1 is a unique variant of the MAF series as it has to be additionally grounded, and it is relatively large as compared to its other variants. This variant is designed by Bosch Rexroth under the belt of the asynchronous motor series. It has a rated speed of 1500 rpm, and the key speed is 1000 rpm due to derating. It follows the classification of climatic environmental conditions according to DIN EN 60721-3-3. The absolute air humidity for this motor must be between 1 - 29 g/m3 whereas the relative air humidity ranges from 5 - 95 %.
This particular motor MAF225C-0150-FR-S2-DR0-35-V1 comes without the holding brakes and has reinforced bearings. Reinforced bearings are best for higher radial loads but reduce the maximum speed and greese service life. This variant is equipped with 2 PTC temperature sensors that are KTY84-130.
