Rexroth motors generated MAF and MAD variants for different appliances. The MAF225C-0150-FQ-S2-EH0-35-N1 motor has been manufactured without the holding breaks so the total weight of the machine is 587 kg. It is an asynchronous motor with a single-turn absolute encoder of 2048 increments. A single-turn encoder (S2) with an interface of 1V has an absolute period of 2048 lines per rotation within one shaft round. It consists of all the data that requires the motor parameters. The maximum speed with universal bearing is 3750 rpm whereas the rated speed of the machine is 1500 rpm.

The motor consumes a rated power of 120 kW power at a nominal load with 95% efficiency. The temperature at which the motor must be operated has a range of 0 C to 40 C. The continuous torque of MAF225C-0150-FQ-S2-EH0-35-N1 is 825 Nm with a thermal constant time of 35 min.
