Product Description
Designed to be used in demanding industrial setups, the MAF180D-0200-FQ-C0-KP0-35-N1 is perfect for high torque applications. This servo motor can be installed in a CNC milling or routing machine thanks to its flange mounting as well as an incremental encoder that has a resolution of 2048 steps. This incremental encoder always keeps counting the number of steps the motor has rotated in order to keep the motor's position precise. With the help of the storage memory present on the encoder, it allows the motor control module to fetch the last known position of the motor shaft, further increasing reliability and accuracy.
To prevent the motor from vibrating vigorously, Rexroth has updated the design by reinforcing the structure of the servo motor, making the motor much more robust so that it can absorb all extra vibrations. To prevent the motor from vibrating too much and to fix it in one stable place, the MAF180D-0200-FQ-C0-KP0-35-N1 offers two mounting options: foot mounting to help mount it to a stable base and a flange mounting to mount the motor onto a flange, which helps the motor be more center-aligned.
This motor operates on 240 Volts AC to 480 Volts AC at nominal conditions to operate and has a current rating of 168.5 Amperes nominal. The power rating of this motor is 83.8 kW, which makes this motor one of the most powerful in the MAF series motors. This servo comes with 3 poles, which can be excited with input voltages at varying frequencies to help regulate the speed of the motor, allowing the motor to adjust its speed via the control signals sent from the motor control module.
