This servo motor is well capable for robotics applications since it offers high precision for its shaft positioning thanks to its 2048 resolution step size which breaks down the entire 360 degree rotation into 2048 small parts, increasing the precision and accuracy of the motor by taking smaller sized steps creating precise moving points.

To balance load easily during high speed or high torque rotations, the MAF180D-0150-FQ-S2-KQ0-35-V1 features a fully balanced shaft key which makes it easy for the motor to rotate heavy load without breaking or bending the shaft. This motor features very high speed reinforced bearings which must be lubricated after every 20000 cycles of use to keep them in good shape and to enhance the overall speed and performance of the motor. Since the shaft has a smooth and full key design, it is perfect for torque transmission applications especially metal gearboxes as this shaft design helps avoid skipping issues in gearboxes.

With a temperature rating between 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius, the MAF180D-0150-FQ-S2-KQ0-35-V1 is designed to sustain high temperatures and has a Thermal time constant of 25 minutes.
