With MAF180D-0150-FQ-S2-KK0-35-N1 users can install a high power servo motor in their process plant to enhance the performance. This particular model offers 435 Nm of torque and can provide a speed of 1500 rpm with a maximum speed rating of 6000 rpm. At the maximum speed, the servo motor is capable of generating a torque of 1013 Nm. This motor design is also efficient as it can produce a torque of 3.29 Nm per ampere of current it draws from the supply. The motor requires 30 Amperes of current to operate in a rated condition.
To help keep the motor cool, the MAF180D-0150-FQ-S2-KK0-35-N1 comes with a pre-installed liquid cooling option that uses water as the default coolant, but users can use various compatible coolants to help cool the motor quickly. The inlet on this cooling tube is threaded with a diameter of 0.5 inches. At the inlet, it is always recommended that the temperature of the cooling liquid is set between 10 to 40 degrees Celsius for optimum cooling performance.
With the help of a single turn absolute encoder, the MAF180D-0150-FQ-S2-KK0-35-N1 servo motor can easily rotate its shaft accurately by counting the number of steps needed to turn. This encoder has a step resolution of 2048 steps and uses the EnDat 2.1 Digital encoder communication protocol for communicating with the servo motor control module. The encoder requires 5 volts to operate and draws 30 Amperes of current. It uses 5 volts square wave pulses to count the number of steps. Each amplitude marks the number of steps the motor has passed.
