The MAF Series, MAF180D-0050-FR-S6- EP0-35-A1 is a high torque servo motor. As a member of IndraDyn A, MAF series motor is characterized by its high-performance liquid-cooled motor. The designs in this series are optimized for providing high torque output in small environments. The integrated cooling part provides a good thermal barrier between the motor and the machinery, therefore, it maximizes heat removal efficiency for the elements even under difficult operating conditions. This type of liquid cooling not only aids in the increase of the motor's performance, but eliminates that of traditional cooling processes while reducing the amount of stress placed on moving parts, thus cutting the usual maintenance load. The liquid cooling system is key when it comes to space constrained, yet stalls high power density solutions. One of the critical issues in any application is heat generation and, since these motors are constantly used, they prevent the motor from overheating. That makes them suitable to be used in factories, construction projects, and other such environments where great accuracy and power turning is needed.

This MAF series motor with the winding code 180 is designed with high performances for high performance applications. This motor supplies 500 Nm of rated torque and acquires the rated speed of 500 rpm consuming electrical power of 26.2 kW. A rated current of sixty point four amperes is drawn across all phases hence the circuit it forms is highly efficient. It also has a very special feature of executing a standstill operation where it is spinning at zero rpm yet is delivering an enabled torque of 500 Nm while consuming 60.4 amperes. This shows the outstanding holding capability of that motor. It should be noted that torque constant is 10 Nm/A however this is standard at an ambient temperature of 20 degree Celsius. This motor should be run at an ambient temperature range of -20 to 40 degree centigrade.
