The Bosch Rexroth MAF160C-0200-FQ-M2-EG0-35-N1 induction motor is one of the most powerful and efficient motors in the MAF Induction Motor Series used in industrial automation. This motor has been designed to meet the rigors of applications like CNC types of machinery, robotics, and material handling systems that require high power, performance, and reliability.

This motor comes with a multiturn absolute encoder and comes with EnDat 2. 1 protocol offering 2048 increments to help in providing accurate feedback in motion control applications. This is because the motor bearing arrangement is designed in a way that guarantees efficiency in operation especially when handling heavy duties. The plain shaft with a sealing ring enhances the protection of the motor from contaminants thus making it more suitable for use in tough industrial environments. This specific model does not come with a holding brake; the shaft can rotate when the motor is off, which can be useful in some situations where the shaft needs to be able to move when the motor is off. The motor has a power of 160 kW which is ideal for any task that involves power in the industrial setting. Powered by a standard 400V AC system common in most industrial applications, the motor produces a torque of 200 Nm making it suitable for applications that require high rotational force.
