The MAF160C-0100-FQ-M2-EG0-05-N1 offers a rated speed of 1000 rpm, and is one of the best choices for engineers in the induction motor series. It is a MAF series motor that uses liquid coolant as a cooling method introduced by Indramat Rexroth. In MAF series liquid-cooled motors, 2 different coolant connections are possible, and the connecting threads are protected by the caps. The coolant supply can withstand a maximum pressure of 3 bar. The bearings in the motor are universal with a 30k hr operating life and the vibration severity step is regularly represented by "R". The vibrations in the machine are sin-shaped. The cooling mode is liquid cooling with a 1/2" connection thread, and the construction style is a flange. The power loss of cooling is 4.5 kW with the 6.5 I/min coolant flow at Pv. It is equipped with an absolute encoder that has a multi-turn and increment of 2048. The output shaft comes with sealing rings that protect the motor from excessive dust and liquids.

The output shaft has a plain shaft, and the power wire cross section is 25 mm2. The motor is equipped with two PTC temperature sensors KTY84-130 where one is used in operations and the other one acts as a spare. The placement of the PTC sensors is on the stationary part of the motor winding. To operate and signal the PTC sensors, they are routed to the controller via the motor power cable. The housing has a black paint coat and is chemically resistant to different kinds of liquids. These liquids include diluted acids, alkaline solutions, water, sewage, or commercial machine oils. Indramat Rexroth suggests low relative air humidity of 5 % and low air temperature of 0 C.
