Rexroths MAF160B-0200-FR-M2-KP0-05-N1 AC motor is an excellent choice for performing demanding industrial applications. This kind of motor has a rated power output of 50.3 kW and a maximum torque of 240 Nm, which helps to handle the load effectively. It generates sufficient power for arduous tasks at the rated speed of 2000 rpm and rated current of 108.5 Amperes. The motor also provides a continuous rated torque of 250 Nm at no load, if that is, the hub does not rotate, and a continuous rated current of 112.3 Amperes for an indefinite period to sustain performance in extended periods of use. The motors maximum torque of 550 Nm realizes configuration for demand for peak loads. The energy efficiency is further improved by a torque constant of 2.4 Nm/A at 20 C and the rated minimum power cable cross-sectional area of 35 mm2 cables is required to properly contain the electrical load.

The motor performance may be preserved with the aid of a cooling system where coolant supply pressure may be maximum at about 3 bar. Control of this pressure must be performed at the coolant connection for the motor. Tightening of the cooling circuit should also be ensured in cases where unnecessary threads or branch connections exist as these may negatively affect the flow and pressure of the coolant and hence decrease the cooling performance of the motor.
