The Rexroth MAF160B-0200-FQ-M2-HK1-05-N1 AC Servo Motor comes with a rated torque of 240 Nm with its rated speed of 2000 rpm, is a remarkable motor, built for heavy duty industrial works. With a standstill torque of 250 Nm and a power output of 50.3 kW, this motor is reliable for the heavy-duty applications. It maintains excellent performance under a load with 108.5 A rated current and continuous current 112.3 A at standstill. The effective performance of the motor is characterized by maximum torque of 550 Nm and torque constant of 2.4 Nm/A at 20!C. A power line that increases up to 35 mm2 is also needed in order to provide both safety and the best performance.

When powering the motor, care should be taken to ground the equipment in order to cut the chances of electric hazards. Thus, at such points, all the electrical appliances including housing of the motor must be connected to the safety with a mechanical means. Copper rope of minimum cross section 10 mm2 is to be used because it is common to have leakage currents of 3.5 mA at normal use. Connecting the protective conductor for earthing is a necessary step before the start up in order to lessen the chances of anyone getting shocked.
