The MAF160B-0150-FQ-C0-FK0-35-N1 is a high torque asynchronous motor which belongs to the MAF series of motors. The MAF series motor is one of the products of the IndraDyn A family and is characterized by the application of liquid cooling. This series is made to fit in applications where there is a need for high torque in small spaces. The integrated cooling system of the motor and the machinery provides proper heat protection between units to enhance heat dispersion and make it operational under any condition. This liquid cooling method not only increases the efficiency of the motor but also minimizes the issues that are related to the conventional cooling systems and thus minimizes the need for frequent maintenance. The liquid cooling system is ideal for use in small spaces, and where higher power density is desired. Through proper heat control these motors can prevent damage due to heat and deliver reliable performance in the course of use. This makes them ideal for use in heavy duty machinery, manufacturing industries and any other sector that requires high torque and high levels of accuracy.

This MAF series motor is a high performance motor suitable for use in challenging applications and has a winding code type of 150. This motor produces a rated torque of 250 Nm and has a rated speed of 1,500 rpm. The electrical power requirement of the system is 39.30 kW. It can operate at a rated current of 89.5 amperes across all the three phases. A unique feature of this motor is its ability to hold a stand still position with a torque of 260 Nm while not rotating at all and still consuming 92.1 amperes.
