It belongs to the class of alternating current (AC) electric motors where the rotor is not synchronized with the rotating magnetic field produced by the stator.

From performance technicalities to housing design, everything is top-notch. Coming towards the sizing of the motor, it is defined by 130 and 200 are its windings. It comes with holding brakes as well that help in maintaining position, facilitates emergency stops minimizes backlash, protects gear trains, and ensures stable operations. In addition to this, the holding brakes consume 1.5 A of rated current alone whereas the overall rated current consumption of the motor is 93.9 A.
