Product Description
The MAF130C-0200-FQ-M0-AQ0-35-N1 from the IndraDyn A series is an asynchronous AC motor whose stator and rotor move at different speeds relative to each other. This motor has 3 poles, also known as coils, which can be excited with voltages at varying frequencies to help control the speed of the motor. The motor is liquid-cooled and has a thermal time constant of 15 minutes, which is much less compared to the MAC series motors that use natural convection and have a thermal time constant of 50 minutes.
This AC motor is designed for high-torque applications, providing up to 143 Nm of torque when the motor shaft is in a locked configuration. While in this locked rotor configuration, the MAF130C-0200-FQ-M0-AQ0-35-N1 can draw up to 71.2 amperes of current, which is a high current value and will require a high-output power supply with a high-efficiency level to help compensate for over and under power requirement conditions. The motor has a power connector placed on the top of the motor for easy access and uses a 16 mm² cable to prevent overheating in the wires as it helps with transferring high amperage.
This motor can be mounted on a stable surface with the help of foot mounting as it keeps the motor grounded and much more secure. However, the MAF130C-0200-FQ-M0-AQ0-35-N1 also offers a flange mounting option to attach the motor with another component with the help of its diameter. The flange mounting is great for transferring torque at a high speed as this prevents the motor from transferring all the load to its shaft. Speaking of the shaft, this motor has a full balanced shaft key.
