The MAF130B-0250-FR-S2-HH0-05-H1 is a liquid-cooled Asynchronous AC servo motor part of the IndraDyn A series motors. This particular motor has a diameter of 130 mm with a length of B. The liquid cooling on this motor is rapid action and supports the 1/4-inch coupling. This motor is by default designed for water cooling but in the case of a different cooling agent, the motor might react differently. The liquid cooling helps dissipate around 2.2 kW of heat while the motor can generate up to 23.6 kW of power.

This motor requires 55.5 Amperes of current to operate, which is pretty high and would require an efficient power supply with adequate load management systems as well as a cooling fan. This servo is designed for 100 Nm standstill torque, which is great when it comes to robotics applications to help keep the links stable. When at a standstill, this motor draws approximately 56.1 amperes of current, which is slightly more than its normal operation current rating.

The motor is designed to be quiet with a maximum noise level of 70 dB within a range of 1000 meters. This motor should only be operated in an environment with a maximum temperature between 0 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius to reduce further heating resulting in heated coils, which can further lead to power dissipation. The motor has an insulation class rating of class F, which protects it against fires with a maximum temperature of 155 degrees Celsius. The MAF130B-0250-FR-S2-HH0-05-H1 is IP 65 rated protecting it against larger dust particles as well as jets and splashes of water keeping its internals sealed and protected from environmental factors.
