Product Description
The MAF130B-0250-FQ-S2-RH0-35-V1 from Rexroth is part of the IndraDyn A series servo motors. This servo motor is designed for robotic applications as it can provide a nominal torque of up to 90 Nm which makes it great for performing rotations for high load applications. This motor's signature feature is the use of liquid cooling to help the motor cool down. The liquid has a temperature between 10 to 40 degrees Celsius at the inlet which is connected to the top of the motor's enclosure. To help cool the motor quickly, this motor has a cooling rate of 3.2 liters per minute.
This motor is designed to provide a speed of 2500 rotations per minute but when using reinforced bearings it can reach a speed of up to 7500 rotations per minute. When using the reinforced bearings it is recommended to replace them after 30000 cycles to keep the motor maintained and help keep its performance optimized. The connector of this motor is placed on the right side of the motor on the top which helps easily access the port without fiddling too much with the power cords of the motor.
This motor does not feature a holding brake to help stop the shaft or keep it in a fixed position, however, for accurately controlling the shaft of the motor, the MAF130B-0250-FQ-S2-RH0-35-V1 features a single-turn absolute encoder that only allows this motor to rotate once but with a resolution of 2048 increments. It relies on the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface which is a bidirectional interface that provides error detection, and safety features when controlling a servo motor. The motor weighs 93 kilograms making it heavy and non-portable.
