Product Description
The MAF130B-0250-FQ-S2-BH0-35-H1 from Rexroth is a liquid-cooled Asynchronous servo motor part of the IndraDyn A series motors. The Asynchronous configuration, also known as the induction motor, uses current in its rotor to rotate with the help of the magnets present in the stator. Since this motor does not feature commutator rings or carbon brushes, the Asynchronous design makes it easy to maintain the MAF130B-0250-FQ-S2-BH0-35-H1.
This particular model is designed to provide high torque of up to 90 Nm, making it great for heavy-load applications such as conveyor belts or packaging machinery. The motor has a speed of 2500 rotations per minute which is not that high but is enough for low-speed applications, ideal for precise movements. Speaking of precision, the MAF130B-0250-FQ-S2-BH0-35-H1 features an S2 configuration single-turn absolute encoder with a resolution of 2048 increments, which helps the motor move its shaft much more precisely.
The encoder on this motor uses the EnDat 2.1 communication protocol, which is a bi-directional protocol allowing the motor controller to send commands as well as receive error signals for debugging. This particular configuration of the motor does not come with a blocking brake to help keep the shaft locked in place. The motor supports both flange-type mounting as well as foot mounting to help keep it stable and avoid unnecessary vibrations. The motor supports high-speed bearings which allow it to reach a speed of up to 10000 rotations per minute; however, when using these high-speed bearings, it is recommended to lubricate them or replace them after 20000 cycles of use to avoid affecting the performance of the motor. The motor has a reinforced vibration severity grade, meaning it is designed to prevent severe vibrations.
