The Rexroth MAF100B-0200-FQ-M2-BH0-05-N1 is a liquid cooled Asynchronous servo motor.  To supply the MAF motors with cooling liquid, you will need additional installation material, e.g. hoses and fixing clamps. These are not included in the delivery of the motor. Select the supply hose with the correct inner diameter which for this motor is 1/4". The customer's equipment is threaded directly into the motor. The motor`s threads are plugged with factory-attached protective caps.

This servo motor has a rated torque of 38 Nm and can maintain a nominal speed of 2000 rpm. The Rexroth MAF100B-0200-FQ-M2-BH0-05-N1 motor draws a current of around 23.9 Amperes and consumes power of 8 watts when under Normal Duty.  The Rexroth MAF100B-0200-FQ-M2-BH0-05-N1 motor features a Multi-turn encoder with EnDat2.1 protocol that allows the motor to transmit position values both digitally and via analog through incremental signals. The MAF100B-0200-FQ-M2-BH0-05-N1 motor has 2048 increments on both sides allowing the motor to move accurately in every direction.

This motor has a Thermal time constant of 10 minutes which is less than that of the MAD series motors since this motor is liquid cooled and takes less time to cool down when running on heavy duty mode. The required and recommended coolant flow is 1.45 liters per minute and a pressure of 3 bar. The motor should be operated in an environment with temperatures between 0 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius for optimum performance. The motor can also be stored but the recommended temperature for storing is -20 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius to avoid affecting the internals of the motors in the state of rest. This motor weighs same as the MAD series motors which is 56 kg.
