Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MAD180D-0200-SA-M2-KP0-35-N1 asynchronous motor has a terminal box connection to the B-side. It helps to utilize all the electrical connections to supply electrical power to the motor. In this motor, the terminal box is placed on the B side of the motor where it is easier to access the wires, and at the same time protect it from adverse conditions. Internal wires are properly connected to the terminal box which reduces the problem of loose wires causing any electrical damage. Due to this arrangement, troubleshooting and maintenance are easier as the wires are visible and well arranged.
The benefits of terminal box connections include less protection requirement of cables, minimal chances of electrical interferences, and improved safety. It also makes it easy to modify the wiring of the motors. The terminal box protects the wiring against dust, water and mechanical damage which makes the motor reliable in harsh working conditions. This motor has a flange and foot mounting style denoted by 35. These mounting styles are used in different kinds of connections. They enable the motor to stick on walls, floors, or any industrial machinery, which makes them adaptable to different kinds of industrial applications.
This MAD motor has a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring. Its important functions include delivering torque from the motor to the equipment. There is a key which fits into the shaft and fixes the rotating parts without any slip. The shaft sealing ring is responsible for excluding dust and oil thus protecting the motor. The plain shaft and the key maintain correct alignment with a minimum vibration; therefore, transmit power to the connected components without wearing out the motor.
