The MAD180D-0150-SA-M2-HQ0-35-V1 by Rexroth Indramat Bosch is an AC motor that runs at an asynchronous speed. Enclosed asynchronous motors with blower surface cooling belong to the MAD series and have certain features in common with other motors in the series. The AC supply is connected to the stator windings and current flows when a voltage is applied to the stator. The current flow creates a magnetic field that impacts the rotor, causing the flow of current and voltage in the rotor parts. The frequency of the alternating current power source and the poles in an asynchronous motor determine its magnetic field strength.

The MAD180D-0150-SA-M2-HQ0-35-V1 motor follows the principle of induction to operate. All the integrated components of the motor, including the stator, encoder, rotor, shaft, and particular winding, help in the production of the output torque. The motor has an axial fan that is employed because of its several unique features, including a low-profile design, and a short radial breadth, with a broad diameter.
