It is an asynchronous motor that operates on alternating current (AC) and relies on the principle of electromagnetic induction to produce motion. Unlike synchronous motors, the rotor in an asynchronous motor doesn't rotate at the same speed as the magnetic field. Instead, there's a slight lag, called "slip," between the speed of the magnetic field and the rotor, allowing the motor to generate torque. These motors are already well-known for their extensive applications in the industry because of their simplicity, durability, and above all cost-effectiveness.
