Product Description
The MAD180D-0100-SA-M2-KL2-35-N1 is another potent AC induction motor carefully engineered by Bosch Indramat. It boasts a wide speed range, high torque and power profile, and a standard blocking brake, fit for the most demanding applications. It features an output shaft with balanced half keyway, optimizing torque transfer between hub connectors and keyed loads. At full-load operation, the machine can seamlessly transmit 370 Nm through its shaft while drawing a load current of 82.4 A. During the full-load operation, the corresponding speed of the shaft is 1000 rpm. Based on its table of specs, the MAD180D-0100-SA-M2-KL2-35-N1 can achieve a maximum speed of 6000 rpm considering its standard bearing.
When the machine is allowed to draw power from a source without letting its rotor move, the MAD180D-0100-SA-M2-KL2-35-N1 achieves its stall values. Two of the most important stall values for this machine are the current and torque, which are 90 A and 410 Nm, respectively. The stall torque and current are critical for sizing the electromechanical's protection devices. Since the MAD180D-0100-SA-M2-KL2-35-N1 has a keyed shaft, the output torque starts to decline from the stall value at the key speed (500 rpm) and approaches its rated value at the rated speed.
The MAD180D-0100-SA-M2-KL2-35-N1's electrically released holding brake can hold a maximum torque of 240 Nm during operation. When the machine is off, the holding brake is engaged. When the holding brake is electrically activated, it disengages from the rotor, thereby allowing it to rotate. Since the holding brake needs a signal to engage or disengage, some delays are inevitable in its operation. Specifically, the MAD180D-0100-SA-M2-KL2-35-N1's holding brake has a 130 ms connection delay and a 300 ms disconnection delay.
