Product Description
The MAD180C is an integral part of the IndraDyn A series of asynchronous motors designed by Rexroth Indramat. These motors are highly efficient and a perfect power source for applications that rely on precision and accuracy. The MAD180C-0200-SA-M2-HH2-35-N1 model is built to be mounted with flange and foot style. The motor can be secured using a DIN standard flange with four through holes that allow safe tightening.
The MAD180C asynchronous motor features a multi-turn absolute optical encoder that continuously reads the output shaft position with 2048 incremental steps. The encoder communicates using the EnDat 2.1 interface, allowing seamless data transfer. To get the maximum data output, the ambient temperature should be maintained above 0 and below +45 degree Celsius. During operation, the excessive heat is blown away by an integrated cooling fan powered by a three-phase AC source. The mass flow volume for the fan is 360 m3/h and operates at 50/60 Hz nominal frequency. The inlet of the fan should be open for air passage. The MAD180C asynchronous motor is equipped with electronically released holding brakes, which generate a holding torque of 240 Nm and are operated at a rated voltage of 24 V.
This Indramat MAD180C motor uses 2 A of current to generate a holding torque with 130 ms connection time and 300 disconnection time. The maximum holding brake speed is 6,000 revolutions per minute. This state-of-the-art motor is equipped with a plain output shaft without a sealing ring. It needs to operate in sealing air, the motor shaft should be used with a sealing ring, and the system pressure should be in the range of 0.1 to 0.2 bar. The MAD180C model is a box motor with a squirrel cage rotor and can be delivered in any country you need.
