When it comes to high-performing squirrel-cage motors, nothing beats the MAD/MAF motor series by Rexroth. The MAF motor series by Rexroth is much like the MAD motor series, with the exception of its cooling mechanism. The MAD motors feature a reliable set of axial blower fans that facilitate surface cooling, while the MAF motors use an external liquid cooling system. The MAD180C-0100-SA-S2-HG0-35-N3 originated from the MAD motor series, featuring a 180-frame type of size C. According to Rexroth’s documentation for MAD180C motors, the winding type dictates the speed at which the motor runs during no-load or nominal conditions. For this motor model, the rated speed is 1000 rpm.
