The MAD180C-0100-SA-C0-KH0-35-N1 is one of the high-torque AC servo motors in the MAD AC servo motor series. This particular model of motor has a torque rating of a whopping 300 Nm at rated operating mode while providing an output speed of up to 1000 rotations per minute making this motor perfect for slow and precise rotations. The servo motor is capable of achieving a high speed of 6000 rotations per minute when using standard-type bearings where it can produce a torque of 792 Nm for a brief period of time.

Since this motor can provide such high power output, it is bound to create a lot of heat which it then tackles with the help of an Axial blower fan which requires 400 volts AC to 480 volts AC to operate. The Axial blower fan helps create an airflow channel inside the chassis of the motor allowing the ambient air to pass through the motor's internals more effectively cooling the coil in the process. This motor has an ambient temperature range of 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius when operating and -20 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius when in storage. The humidity range of this motor is 5 % to 95 %.

To prevent the motor from degrading over time, the MAD180C-0100-SA-C0-KH0-35-N1 servo motor comes with an IP 65 protection rating that protects the motor against dust particles with a size of up to 2 mm and scratches 0.2 mm deep. The protection rating also provides protection against low-level water splashes. This motor can be mounted at a maximum height of 1000 meters above sea level using both flange or foot type mounting options.
