Part of the MAD series of Asynchronous servo motors, the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-FH0-35-V1 is a 2000 rpm motor that comes with very high-speed bearings that allow this motor to reach a speed of up to 9000 rpm. This motor has a rated torque output of 210 Nm but with a maximum speed of 9000 rpm, this motor can produce a torque of up to 494 Nm as well but only for a brief period.||When it comes to accurate shaft positioning, the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-FH0-35-V1 comes with a single-turn absolute encoder. This encoder has a resolution of 2048 increments for one single rotation, allowing the motor controller and the operator to finely control the positioning of the motor shaft, which is perfect for robotics applications where accuracy is very critical. The encoder requires a 5-volt DC supply to function and consumes around 30 mA of current. For counting the number of increments, this encoder relies on 5-volt square wave pulses that are generated whenever an increment is detected. For the change in direction, the pulses may be mirrored, producing a negative amplitude square wave output.
Talking about the construction of this motor, the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-FH0-35-V1 comes with a full aluminum body design that is protected against rust with the help of black prime paint. It also comes with an IP 65 protection rating against dust and low-level moisture levels such as low-pressure wash and light drizzling. This motor has class F insulation to protect it against fires that can reach temperatures of up to 170 degrees Celsius. The motor has a temperature rating of 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius for operation.
