The Rexroth motor generation IndraDyn A consists of asynchronous box motors with squirrel-cage rotor, it is available as MAD series with surface ventilation by solidly connected fan unit. IndraDyn A motors have compact dimensions and can be used as main and servo drives for all rotary driving. The optimized design with safety class IP65 for motor and fan allows for operation in adverse conditions. Easy-to-service construction reduces maintenance frequency and allows maintenance during operation. Furthermore, IndraDyn A motors with ATEX design can be used in hazardous areas under certain preconditions. MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH3-35-N1>> is a powerful product of this series. The technical specifications of the same are; a torque of 210 Nm & the torque is capped at 494 Nm. Weighing in at 238 kg & a moment of inertia of 0.311 kgm2. The power output is 44 Kw & maximum output 90.2 Kw. This motor has standard bearing type. The cooling of this motor is done by a solidly connected fan unit, blowing from B to A. The power consumption is 132-175 VA & the fan flow is 0.19-0.21. This motor features a holding brake to prevent free backlash of the servo axes when not in use. The transmittable torque of the holding brake is 240 Nm, rated current is 1.87 A, max. permissible braking energy is 70,000 Ws.
